Note Variant V215L is actually the HIV-B strain consensus position but was not autologous in these studies. V215L had a greater fitness in ex-vivo studies than the autologous 215V. It was seen in patients 1362 at 769 DPS onwards, patient PIC1349 between 44 and 342 DPS, and PIC1052 between 184 and 754 DPS.
