Note This rare escape was seen in subject CH-13, a controller. CH-13 also displayed a rare substitution in epitope TW10 (TSTLQEQIGW), suggesting that the two rare mutational pathways may be inter-dependent. Avidity of this variant, rAFSPEiIPMF, was much lower than that of wild type KF11.
