Variant Details

Showing all: 1 variant(s).

Variant ID.  3107
Epitope Seq.  VIPMSFAL
Variant Seq.  VIPMtFAL
Mutations S/T
Epitope Location S5T
HXB2 Location S172T
Mutation Type A: HLA association
DR: diminished response
E: escape documented in this paper
Epitope Subtype B
Variant Subtype B
Method CD8 T-cell Elispot - IFNy, Intracellular cytokine staining
Note C-mut VIPMtFAL was the result of an S173T substitution in Gag epitope VIPMSFAL (VL8). A peptide containing VIPMtFAL escape was less well recognized than wt VL8 as proved by testing for γ-IFN and TNF-α production with intracellular cytokine staining (ICS) of a VL8-specific CTL cell line and its HLA-Cw*0102-transfected APC.
