Note fPLTFGWCF (Y135F) accumulates in B*3501+ Japanese individuals to 61% and YF9-specific CTL's suppression of replication of the virus is impaired, with higher pVLs being maintained. Also, Y135F-infected responders had significanlty lower pVLs than non-responders although both had relatively high pVLs.

Note lPLTFGWCF (Y135L) accumulates in B*3501+ Japanese individuals to 8% and is recognized as well as the WT by WT(YF9)-specific CTL. There is no difference in pVL between responders and non-responders infected with either Y135(WT) YF9 or Y135L mutant YF9.
