Showing all: 1 variant(s).

Variant ID.  2558
Epitope Seq.  FPISPIETV
Variant Seq.  FPISPIdTV
Mutations E/D
Epitope Location E7D
HXB2 Location E161D
Mutation Type E: escape documented in this paper
Method Chromium-release assay, Longitudinal study, Relative replication capacity assay, Sequence
Note FV9-specific CTLs showed reduced killing activity against target cells pulsed with the FV9-7D mutant (FPISPIdTV) peptide and failed to kill those infected with the FV9-7D mutant virus; in 2 HLA-B*5401 individuals the mutant appeared during the clinical course, suggesting escape.
