Variant Details

Showing all: 1 variant(s).

Variant ID.  61
Epitope Seq.  DAKLIITTY
Variant Seq.  DAKLIIkTY
Mutations T/K
Epitope Location T7K
HXB2 Location T67K
Mutation Type E: escape documented in this paper
Method CD8 T-cell Elispot - IFNy
Note The peptide that carries this epitope was recognized early in infection but the response diminished over time. A point mutation of epitope position 7 (T to K, DAKLIIkTY) was detected at high frequency at a chronic infection timepoint, 34 months. The K variant was an escape form, and had low avidity by gamma IFN EliSpot.
