| Patient Note | 021-C is a Pediatric Slow Progressor (PSP) infected in utero. Leitman2017 studied PSP's HIV-specific CD8+ T cell activity and the nature of their viral reservoir. 021-C was in the viremic non-controller group. They received ART from 0.1-1.1yr and had not resumed it before the end of the study. A broad array of non-Gag escape mutations were selected for in 021-C within 3mo of birth. |
