Patient Note Murakoshi2019 reports that CTL specific for epitope SQYALGII(SI8) from WT HIV-1-infected KI-628 were generated into T cell clone lines. Treatment-naive subject, KI-628, chronically infected with Gag RI8 RMYSPvSI-virus had a strong RMYSPvSI-specific CTL IFNγ EliSpot response (1771 spots/106 CTLs). A KI-628-derived RMYSPvSI-specific CTL clone had strong suppressive ability against RMYSPvSI-infected T cells (100%) and moderate suppressive activity against RMYSPYSI-infected T cells (about 40%).
