Mice were immunized with ADMVA, a modified multivalent live recombinant vaccinia (MVA) vaccine containing 5 HIV-1 proteins (gag-pol, env, and nef-tat) based on a virus highly related to subtypes C/B', CRF07 and CRF08 predominating in the Yunnan province of China.
Peptide Tat12, ISYGRKKRRQRRRAP, elicited a CMI (cell-mediated immune) helper response of > 200 sfu/million cells.
