Notes

• Response to KF11 in B*5703-positive subtype C-infected subjects is associated with a lower viral setpoint, while response in B*5701-positive B-infected subjects is associated with a 10-fold higher viral setpoint. This difference seems to depend strongly on the residue at Gag173.
• ISPRTLNAW was in the region of the KF11 epitope and its I147X escape mutation was associated with HLA-B*5703 in B-infected subjects of the Barbados cohort.
