Notes

• The study examined patients' reactivity to HIV consensus M Gag and Nef peptides. Patients in Cameroon infected by CRF02_AG and non-CRF02_AG were compared. Responses of patients from a multi-clade country, Cameroon, were compared with patients from a single-clade country, South Africa. No patterns of immunodominance could be detected in either comparison.
• Peptide YSPVSILDIRQGPK was recognized by 2/44 (4%) infected patients in South Africa and 1/57 (2%) patients in Cameroon.
