Notes

• CTL responses in seronegative highly HIV-exposed African female sex workers in Gambia and Nairobi were studied -- these women had no delta 32 deletion in CCR5.
• In Gambia there is exposure to both HIV-1 and HIV-2. CTL responses to B*35 epitopes in exposed, uninfected women are cross-reactive.
• This HIV-2 sequence, TNCRGEFL showed no cross-reactivity to HIV-1. Johnson1993
