Notes

• An elite suppressor patient maintained viral control for more than nine years after cessation of drug therapy, but had no identifiable protective factors. EliSpot analysis using 15mers from Gag and Nef revealed 6 non-overlapping epitopes in Gag and 2 in Nef.
• The patient recognized a putative epitope within 3 overlapping 15-mers: SKRSVVGWPTVRER, SVVGWPTVRERMRRA, WPTVRERMRRAEPAA. The epitope was not defined further.
• A putative escape variant, SKRSVVGWPTVgER, was noted.
