Notes

• In a patient with severe clinical presentation of acute HIV infection, strong responses were detected to 4 HIV-1 epitopes. The upper limit of CD8 expansion during acute infection may be higher than previously reported and was likely driven by the narrow HIV-specific response.
• The patient had a strong EliSpot response to NYTSLIYNL at 18 days after hospital admission for acute infection.
