Notes

• Circulating T cells of the HIV-1 reservoir in ART-treated people living with HIV (PLWH) had 68% reactive T-cell epitopes with no escape. Of the remaining 32% reactive T-cell epitopes, escape was lower in conserved regions of HIV. This is the first published study of PLWH on ART where HIV-1 outgrowth viruses of the patient reservoir were longitudinally mapped against the entire HIV proteome in 25 subjects.
• Clade B Tat89-101 reactive peptide, KKVERETETDPVD, had no outgrowth virus and therefore no detectable escape and the response it elicited was detected by EliSpot at 256 SFU/10ˆ6 PBMC.
