• Ex vivo-expanded HIV-specific T cells and antigen presenting cells from seronegative donors were identified against specific Gag or Nef epitopes with the goal of using them in allogenic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. This is the first domonstration of ex vivo-primed and expanded HIV-specific T cells releasing IFNγ in response to mapped epitopes, with enhanced ability to suppress HIV replication in vitro.
