Notes

• 7 chronically infected HIV-1+, HLA-B*2705+ long term nonprogressors (LTNP) were longitudinally followed to detect their immunodominant epitope KK10-specific CTL response with respect to memory cell stability and cross-reactivity to variants. An antiapoptotic persistence of KK10-CTL clonotypes (high levels of CD127 and Bcl-2); and the ability to cross-recognize variant epitopes correlate with LTNP.
• 2/7 patients, LTS12 and LTS66, carried wild type KK10 i.e. KRL, KRWIILGLNK, exclusively at the earliest time point sampled.
