Notes

• Terminal homologation or replacement of the N-terminal amino acid by a β²- and of the C-terminal amino acid residue by a β³-homo-amino acid moiety was used to stabilize 4 physiologically active peptides in human serum. The homologated analog of HIV-derived B27-KK10, KRWIILGLNK resisted degradation approximately 70-times longer than the native B27-KK10.
