F223: binds to HIV-1 gp120 and to uninfected lymphocytes binding to a 159-kd auto-antigen expressed on most B cells and a small fraction of T and NK cells -- the antibody enhances HIV-1 infection in a complement-dependent manner -- F223 light chains have a strong homology with VLgamma2, the heavy chain to the germline gene VH3-H.11 -- N-linked carbohydrates are key for recognition of both gp120 and the autoantigen -- MAb 3D6 also uses VH3 and has autoreactivity.
