D4: Murine antibody response to the chimeric construction granulocyte-macrophage colony stimulating factor GM-CSF/gp120 was tested, MAbs from normal mice were gp120 specific, MAbs from nude mice bound gp120 but were polyreactive, and from reconstituted mice were half way between -- the anti-gp120 response used a high frequency of VH81X, VHQ52, and VH7183 genes, a family used during fetal life and associated with autoimmunity -- D4 was a gp120 from a BALBc reconstructed nude mouse and had VH gene J558. delReal1999 (antibody generation, autoantibody or autoimmunity, antibody sequence)
