DH577: In the RV305 HIV-1 vaccine trial, two boosts of either ALVAC-HIV, AIDSVAX B/E gp120 or ALVAC-HIV + AIDSVAX B/E gp120 were given to HIV-1-uninfected RV144 vaccine-recipients. While no bNAb plasma activity was induced in this trial as well, an increased frequency of memory B cells that produce Env-specific anti-CD4bs antibodies with long HCDR3s was detected. Some mature antibodies neutralized a tier 1 isolate as well as the tier 2 CRF01_AE isolate, CNE8, including DH577 (from donor#3043). Post-RV305 memory B cell V_H mutation frequencies increased to 6.7% from 2.9% post-RV144. Easterhoff2017 (neutralization, vaccine-induced immune responses)
