P2D2: This Ab recognized trimeric ΔV2gp140 but not monomeric ΔV2gp140, suggesting that the epitope is affected by the state of Env oligomerization. P2D2 did not neutralize homologous SF162, nor viruses lacking V1 or V2 loops. Lack of neutralizing activity of this Ab could not be attributed to its binding kinetics.
