Detection of an autologous NAb response in 12 patients with primary infections was delayed -- for patients with a viral isolate obtained at month 1, autologous NAbs to viral isolates were generally not observed before month 6, and there was no apparent relationship between the emergence of neutralizing activity and the decrease of plasma viral load.
